TrafficOur¬†primary concerns are the negative impacts resulting from the complete removal of the parcel’s current buffer of over 300 mature native oak trees (in defiance of the City of Rocklin’s “oak preservation” ordinance), their loss of privacy, exposure to pollution from noise, light, air and water and the 1300 additional car trips per day that will impact traffic circulation. In addition, there is a major loss of mature native topography and landscape, which provides habitat for wildlife and a respite for humans in the presence of a growing commercial corridor.
